The following are the general terms of our cancellation policy, regarding all the bookings of tours and experiences done at our internet site with the PeekPro system and via our guides, agents or associated hotels:


  1. All our paid activities that are booked online are subject to Taxes & Fees.
  2. All our paid activities that are booked via our guides, agents or associated hotels are subject to 16% of Sales Tax, in accordance to Mexican law (IVA).
  3. In case of canceling UP TO THREE DAYS before the service, you will not be charged with cancellation fees. You will receive a 100% refund.
  4. No refunds will be allowed within TWO DAYS BEFORE the scheduled departure. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
  5. NO SHOW POLICY. If you do not show up at the establish time for your tour, you will be given you will be given a tolerance of up to 15 minutes. When a NO SHOW event happens the tolerance time, it will be understood that the customer cancels his service unilaterally, and therefore, there will not be the possibility of a refund. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
  6. Please send an e-mail with your name, activity and the date of your reservation to tours@mexicoapie.com, call us at Mexico +52 (55) 7027.2339, or send us a text message (WhatsApp, Telegram or similar) or call us at Mexican cell phone number +52 (55) 6014.2996 in order to proceed with the cancellation.
  7. We understand that extenuating circumstances may occur and a change in the reservation date may be necessary. For this reason, we will be happy to switch to any other program date within a period of one year from the date of reservation at no additional charge. It is limited to two reprogramming per activity.
  8. We are not responsible for cancellation of events due to force majeure (ex. Earthquake) nor global events or for official events in museums or buildings to visit. The visit will be rescheduled or replaced within the same route.
  9. Some tours require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a tour giving rise to its full refund to affected customers, although the company Mexico a Pie will do everything possible to maintain normal operation.


For tours and/or experiences sold via distribution channels (OTA – Online Travel Agency) such as TripAdvisor, Viator, Civitatis or Expedia, among others, we will align to their cancellation policy.


Here's the general terms for their refund/return/exchange policy:

The following are not refundable:


  1. Event, Attraction, Theater, Show or Coupon Ticket
  2. Gift Certificates
  3. Tour or Package Commencing During a Special Event Period


Other activities which are not listed above are covered by these cancellation/refund terms:


  1. If you cancel at least 7 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure, you will not be charged with cancellation fees.
  2. If you cancel between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, you will receive a 50% refund.
  3. No refunds will be allowed within 2 days before the scheduled departure. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.


Any question, doubt or situation not considered in this manifesto will be gladly attended by any of Mexico a Pie Walking Tours & Travel Experiences representatives.
